The McSpadden County Fair is a It is a family-friendly, community-focused event celebrating “harvest fun” and sustainability. The fair features local artisans, live music, food trucks, community booths, and without local contributors, the fair wouldn’t be the community event we know and love.

Monica Lee

Vancouver musician, mother, curious musicologist, and advocate of flavour, Monica Lee brings us fun, interactive songs from her Jump Into Music program. You will also hear her harmonizing with other song-writers as part of the Couch Choir. Once again, Monica will be returning as the MC of our Zucchini Races!

Carnival Band

The Carnival Band is a community music project with over 20 years of history, based out of Commercial Drive’s Britannia Community Centre.

EartHand Gleaners

EartHand Gleaners Society creates environmental art programs which foster multicultural, interdisciplinary collaboration among community members and professionals in the fields of education, sciences and the arts.

The Fox Hops

The Fox Hops are an energetic, harmony-heavy bluegrass band with creatively arranged blue- and new-grass tunes.

French Canadian Folk Music

Encouraging interest in Traditional French-Canadian music, and sharing and playing a common repertoire together in informal environments. 

Ginalina Music

Juno-nominated and Canadian Folk Music Award winning Ginalina creates fusion folk music and nature-honouring songs and books in English, French, and Mandarin, that celebrate our roots, community, culture, and the connections we share between them.

Building social changes in communities through play and team building with a social impact through Improv and Theater games.

The Hillbettys are an old-timey/Americana/Folk/ Country all-momma four-piece of scrubbin’, strummin and plucking babes.

Paul Silveria is a musician, songwriter, dance caller, and community organizer who engages audiences of all ages with interactive old-time music and dance!

Red Fox Healthy Living Society promotes healthy active living among children and youth, and fosters employment and life skills in youth who face barriers.

Juno nominated percussionist Robin Layne has worked with many of Canada’s finest global artists and toured throughout China, Europe, Mexico, US and Canada. Join him and his students for a workshop and performance.

Catapulting this old world instrument into the awesome present times, Joseph Lam becomes Accordion Man to children and communities everywhere! Roving, performing, and improvising, Joseph stretches and squeezes his box to the delight of his audiences.

The McSpadden Flying Zucchini Society acknowledges that we live and learn on the unceded, ancestral, and traditional lands of the Musqueam, Tsleil-Waututh, and Squamish peoples. We pay our respects to ancestors and Elders, both past, present, and emerging.
