Carnival Band

The Carnival Band is a community music project with ten years of history, based out of Commercial Drive’s Britannia Community Centre.  We believe that community music is grounded in collaboration, with the aim of empowering the individuals involved. Songs and performances are a means to creative expression and community cohesiveness, rather than an end in themselves.

Monica Lee & the String Bees Band

Monica Lee and The String bees perform songs from around the world featured in Monica’s early childhood music program Jump Into Music. Sing along as they play songs from around the world. Get up and dance as the bass, ukulele and violin weave sounds happiness.
